NCDF

An example of

Effective Community Empowerment

ABOUT NCDF

In 2009, we started Nkoilale Community Development Organisation a community based organization formed in a consultation and participatory manner to highlights, plan and articulate the community challenges and priorities namely:

Empowerment for the Nkoilale community by:

  1. access to Education.
  2. access to Health care,
  3. access to water
  4. economic empowerment.

Within 11 years, NCDO is grown to an example of effective organizing and establishing community empowerment. through competent and reliable leadership. Since 2020 NCDO became Nkoilale Community Development Foundation. This to strenghten the community contribution and  to make Nkoilale independent from donors in future. We established good relationships with many organisations and donors. Also within the Narok District Council relationships are very well established.   Even such that the Kenyan government brings other groups to Nkoilale to learn how to set up a proper community  based organisation.

It is all about

Results and Positive Impact

In the past 11 years, NCDO has established a respectfull track record in organizing and the completion of large and well-functioning projects:

  • developing the Nkoilale primary school from a small school into one of the best schools in Narok district, providing 1800 children good education.
  • building and establishmentof 3 feeder schools to enable young children to go to school safely,
